Yoga Everyone was founded in 2010. It was initially an extension of Samantha Kinkaid’s service work, utilizing yoga and mindfulness practices in working with children at Childrens Hospital LA through CoachArt, at her local elementary school and in hospice. Deeply touched by clients, Samantha sought to more publicly raise awareness on the benefits of these practices—turning first to youth.
In the fall of 2010, Yoga Everyone sponsored Street Yoga (who do incredible work with At-Risk Youth) to offer their first teacher training in the Greater LA area. In the spring of 2012, Yoga Everyone sponsoredMindful Schools (who bring mindfulness practices into elementary schools) to present their first Mindfulness Curriculum training program in LA.
The Agoura Hills studio (now closed) launched two successful programs: Yoga Care Therapeutics for adults with therapeutic needs in body and mind; and Social Flexibility Yoga for youth with autism, sensory and social learning challenges, depression and anxiety.
Classes and programs are offered in private, semi-private and group settings. Please contact us for details.
With experience in meditation and yoga spanning three decades, Samantha is committed to supporting clients in their healing process and their personal growth and development. She has had the privilege to serve groups and individuals – children through clients at the end-of-life – with diverse challenges including insomnia, autism, anxiety, anger, depression, post-traumatic stress, chronic pain, and disease, as well as support during major life events.
Instruction is offered one-on-one and in small groups settings depending on the client and need.
Samantha is interested in wisdom and compassion practices being a more sustainable part of our culture. With her work and writing, she actively seek ways to raise awareness on the benefits of these practices – at home, in schools, in business.
“Yoga is truly about authentic and compassionate connection with each moment, regardless of what we are doing or who we are with. There is a clarity and ease that springs forth when we touch on this.”
Samantha is also the Director of Youth Programs for the Integrative Restoration Institute, a non-profit in the Bay Area.
She lives in Oak Park with her family where they enjoy hiking, swimming and playing in the park.
