for an Ayurvedic Yoga Workshop!
Ayurvedic Yoga takes each practitioner’s individual dosha*, the season of the year and the time of day into consideration. Each student will have the option to fill out a short questionairre before, so if you aren’t familiar with your dosha (Vāta, Pitta, Kapha) you will have the opportunity to find out!
Ayurveda is rooted in balancing the doshas. This is the central belief and the key to health and well-being.
The class offers a unique individualized practice with personal touches and lots of tips for healthy living. The class offers a traditional yoga practice which includes asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises) and savasana (relaxation) with special attention and encouragement on finding stillness focus and rejuvenation.
*dosha: body type, physical constitution, incorporating the five elements of ether, air, fire, water and earth.
